Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square by IHG

The hotel was good and they experienced to stay there for three days was wonderful

I was expecting the Playhouse area to be much crowded, but unfortunately it was empty.

Listen to a room with no AC Could not get an Internet connection went downstairs spoke with a desk personnel to use the guest Business center Wi-Fi did not work there either. . Staff attempted to get Internet, working to no avail.

I went the to visit my daughter who is on the Broadway National Tour of Death Becomes Her, which just opened at Playhouse Square. Death Becomes Her was Excellent. The Crown Plaza Cleveland not so much.

The price was **way too high** for what we got. I paid $450 for two nights, plus parking, at a hotel with an extremely unpleasant lobby. It smelled like fresh raw sewage throughout the entire area. What a greeting! Parking was exorbitant at $55 per night. The shower had virtually no water pressure, so I had to wash my hair in the sink. Valet parking was fine, but a bit of a hassle. There were no ice or vending machines on the floors; they were only available in the lobby, where everything was extremely overpriced. Even the tap water tasted like swimming pool water. When I’m paying over $500 for a stay, I expect much more. This is a Crowne Plaza, for heaven’s sake, and it was nowhere near the standard of other places I’ve stayed for much less. **Never again.**
