Red Roof Inn Binghamton North

Breakfast was adequate

No hair dryer in room. The one I got from front desk had no warm air.

The staff is pleasant and the location was on my travel route. The breakfast was acceptable.

The whole room was slanted, the door frames were warped thus they were hard to open and close.

Everything was very good except breakfast. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Easy parking, quiet. All on first floor. Beds were comfortable. Liked the bare floor rather than carpet. Very clean.

Breakfast area needed someone to wipe tables after people had sat at them and dropped crumbs, jelly and coffee on them and the floor. Ran out of milk and juice and waffle mix one day and had to wait until someone brought more in; room was full of people waiting. No hand soap in bathroom. Dispenser was empty. Need place to hang towel, washcloth when using it more than once. TV was not very easy to use. Door stuck when you went in and out.

Room was clean. Price was ok compared to other area options.

Twice during the evening we lost the signal on our TV making it unwatchable (room 119). We lost about 45 minutes of our time to the staff trying to resolve the issue. We asked for a different room; told us they were full. We asked for a discount; no response. At one point we had the entire family in our room; husband, wife, 2 young adult children working on it. They got it working but we never regained the channel guide making it cumbersome to watch. The bathroom door needed adjustment, sticking. The breakfast was abysmal. Supplies ran out & choices were very few. Coffee was from a machine, not fresh brewed. When we arrived in the dark the hotel road sign was not lit; only the one on the bldg was. After I reported the dark sign, it was on later. The bed was surprisingly comfortable for the amount the mattress sagged under each of our bodies.
