This location was amazing. The staff was super nice and the grounds are so well maintained. The room smelled and felt super clean when we walked in. The location and views are both excellent. I highly recommend!

The entrance is hard to see if you don't know what you're looking for. The rooms could benefit from some blacked-out curtains.

For the price, the room was too small, and there were really no amenities except the free scones and coffee in the morning, sunbathing on the pool deck or ocean dock, and the free use the kayaks. The immediate area did not really have nightlife or other attractions other than water sports, or maybe we did not know where to go to find more interesting things.

we drove around southern Florida for our honeymoon and this was by far our favorite stay! great room, the resort is gorgeous. the staff is great! loved everything about it.

we would probably choose a bigger room, the queen small is small.

Small property with 22 units. Beautiful water views and access. Multiple gathering areas for two or ten. our unit was recently remodeled, spotless and beautiful!

would have enjoyed a few more activities, ie. cornhole or badminton set-up

We loved Renee’s scones. Reception staff were fantastic. Jonathan’s care and welcome on a late arrival meant we were reassured when we arrived after a long drive from the airport in the dark and torrential rain. Brilliant stay all round. Fantastic location with private beach and kayaks to get out on the water. Ballyhoos restaurant nearby is fab

Loved the scones and coffee/tea for breakfast. Great selection changing every day. The grounds were extremely well kept and the pool well maintained. We only used the on-site kayaks once due to windy conditions but was great fun to paddle in the bay. The hotel is quiet and peaceful although just off I1. Plenty of food options nearby

I need a quiet room with no surrounding noise to sleep as I'm alight sleeper. We were booked into a room in the middle of the property, fairly close to US Hwy 1. With that concern expressed, the woman at reception, walked us to the room to make sure it was quiet inside, and it was. Although the room was small, we were only staying one night. The location made up for the small room, as the property is directly on the gulf. There were plenty of chairs and lounges as well as a pier to walk out over the water. The property faces the west, so we had seats for a beautiful sunset! We sat at the water, had snacks, a glass of wine and chatted with other guests. They have their own scone truck with wonderfully homemade soft scones by the owner, Peg. She said she has 75 different recipes that she makes throughout the year, all with real fruit. Renee at the truck serves up the scones, coffee and teas. The breakfast was a nice change from the day old bagels you get at some places or the ziplock baggie 'breakfast' offered at our next stop. I kept raving about the foliage around the property. I loved it there (and I'm one not to offer much praise typically). We will be back for a longer stay.

What’s not to love! Bay Harbor was right on the water with a covered deck to enjoy. We enjoyed homemade scones and fresh coffee every morning. There was kayaks and a dock to enjoy the water and the Adirondack chairs were so easy to relax in. The pool was clean and the property had beautiful plants and trees throughout. We initially had an issue when we booked but the owners made it more than right and we were so appreciative of this. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some tranquility along with great service!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The room, the view, it was the perfect honeymoon!

Going home was definitely a sad day.
