I'm going to preference that the staff we encountered were polite, the hotel is beautiful. I've stayed at my fair share of "resorts" and I would not concider this one. There were so many small things that were really just irritating/disappointing for the whole experience. I was not happy with was the parking situation, no where was I informed prior to my stay that, and I am quoting the front desk staff, at check in, "It's valet parking only." When, after speaking with other guest at the pool, that there was free parking, but it was far. Which is it, is it only valet parking or do your guest have options? Then after checking in, I have to go to the concierge to get a wrist band, understood, but I don't care about your timeshare "opportunities" it took way to long to leave that desk. Understanding that your staff have a job to do, but it doesn't take much to tell when someone just wants to take their stuff and go to their room. Now, the kicker, after 2 tiring interactions, we are meet with elevators that are out of order, this one just really just set the mood for myself. So, we head down to the pool, because 2 websites shows the hours of the indoor AND outdoor pool close at 7pm, I searched the actual website for the resort, and had no luck. So, nope both sites were wrong, that sucked, plus no one told us when we talked on the subject of the pool that the towels are inside your room, in a closet. Now, we are back in the room, no room service, which blows my mind, how do you have a spa/resort with no room service? No self service laundry, why? Plus, there are so many spelling errors on the sheet they gave us for the restaurants around us. How do you misspell smoothie king? The phone on the desk didn't work, had to call from the phone in the bathroom. The attention is in the small details, and this did not deliver.

Insufficient personnel . No one to direct you when needed. Very expensive valet service with better options for self parking

4:00PM checkin time and 10:AM checkout are absurd, not very accommodating for late checkout (acted like 11:00AM was a big deal) sales pitch for "ownership" front desk staff mumbled and not very accommodating or cheerful no self parking ($35 to valet, which is not needed) shortage of luggage carts poor, dim room lighting ice machines not on every floor very overpriced, all things considered

Valet very friendly and accessible.

I tried to find food or snacks at 10:30 pm and they directed me to the 3rd floor vending machines. I expected a little more amenities.

Location is great, staff is wonderful.

Room was not cool enough -- this is San Antonio and the AC needs to be on point and generous. Have control over temp in room but it did not maintain that temp unless we had all curtains closed and were not in the room. Did not sleep well either night because temp was not comfortable. Very disappointed with lack of circulation and quality AC.
