Front desk staff were so friendly, so was house keeping..the food staff had a attitude and rude response when I ask if there were more plates

Food staff were rude

The staff were amazing. The room was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I came fir my husband birthday and we will be back for mine. I highly recommend this hotel. O and the jacuzzi was huge and I already miss it.

We told them at check in that we wanted.to.pay in cash. We also asked if they were going to charge our card the night front desk lady said no but they did for authorization reasons. It was right around Christmas and really messed things up for us.

Noise from next door, kids yelling and jumping on beds very loud overall

The room was very comfortable. cinnamon buns were amazing.

no hand towels or face cloths and only one bath towel.

Breakfast was good

Pool was really dirty. We weren’t able to swim

New and very pleasant appearance.

Room was located on the highway side of the building and the traffic noise made restful sleep difficult.

Front desk staff were nice and the location was convenient for what I was doing.

Cleaning staff could have shown up at least once in my 4 day stay. I had to empty my own garbage and grab a new roll of toilet paper off the cart. I stayed in the same room with my family for 7 days prior to this and had the same experience. Bare minimum for room cleaning here. Towels were just dropped off and left on the counter no cleaning and bed was made maybe twice in the 11 days I had the room and I'm pretty sure they didn't change the sheets at all. I would expect a bit more for the $2,400 Canadian I paid in total for the room for the 11 day stay. Unfortunately, there were various homeless people camped out in front of the hotel and one night were sitting on the bench outside the main doors. I felt bad for them but I don't think they should be on the property.

After reading some of the reviews of hotels in Tacoma I was a little scared to stay there, luckily I stumbled on this Holiday Inn Express. It was nice, convenient, and I never felt unsafe. Rooms were nice, bed was comfy and breakfast was good.

The room was spacious and inviting. It smelled fresh and not like disinfectant. A mini fridge and microwave, closet, desk alcove and sitting area. Linens high quality and spares in the closet. WiFi great. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. A variety each morning. The pancake machine was a nice treat. Staff was friendly and knew their jobs.

The coffee that came out of the in room Keurig machine was awful. So I didn’t use it. I don’t doubt I could have gotten a replacement. Also, the location area around the hotel seemed a little sketchy.
