I hosted my friends in the lobby, was great

We left too early for breakfast for a fishing trip

I didn’t like the negative reviews on line. I was extremely hesitant to stay at the hotel. I was EXTREMELY pleased that it was a lovely stay. Better channels on the television would have been a plus.

We booked this hotel because we were attending a wedding nearby, and with the weather looking like it was going to be bad, we decided it would be much better to stay overnight than drive home. We were really happy with our choice! I loved that check in was at 2 PM, which gave us some extra time to relax before getting ready for the wedding. The room was spacious and clean, and we really liked the high ceilings. We had neighbors on both sides but didn’t hear a thing from either room The front desk staff were great!!! Check in and check out we’re both quick and easy. We also really liked the outdoor facilities. The pool area and basketball courts in the center of the property looked great, and I would love to come back during the summer when we could actually take advantage of everything. Overall, we had a great stay!!

If I had one small critique, it would be that the tub/shower had some marks that made it look a little older and worn. It was still clean and it didn’t bother us at all, but it was the only thing I noticed

If you like super firm beds and thin, old, cement pillows, this is the place for you! It is OK to put new pillows on the beds once in a while. Walked into our room and it smelled like someone unloaded an entire can of Lysol or hid two dozen perfumed soap bars around the room and it burned my nostrils in less than a minute. The fridge made a clicking noise all night, and the heat wasn’t on, there was only a single thin fleece blanket on each bed, and when we turned on the heater it smelled like burnt hair. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom so if you get up to use the toilet in the middle of the night you disturb your partner with washing your hands but that’s ok, because they were already up because you turned on the bathroom light and the ceiling fan rattled everyone awake.
