Inn was beautiful with flowers and other decor to make it stand out. Room was perfect. Staff accommodated my request for an accessible room with a view of the ocean. It was lovely.

We loved the attention from staff, and our room.

We only wished that the restaurant that was once there was still there. And, that they were able to complete the renovations to the property. It is a special place.

The location of this hotel is excellent. Just a short walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to town.

Many things make this hotel a miss. The room we stayed in was very dirty. There was dried dog poop on the floor when we arrives that was not our dogs. The floor was sticky and there was trash under the bed. It smelled heavily of smoke. The chain lock was just balanced on the door jam and fell off when we tried to use it. The AC is a window unit cut into the wall and it does very little. The pool is not heated despite the staff telling you it is. The TV in our room had a universal remote and randomly changed channels and turned off when the neighboring room was using their remote. The restaurant is closed. Has been closed for years according to staff. No timeline for reopening. The restaurant is still advertised. There appears to be renovations happening all over but its clear they're on hold and have been for a while. Breakfast was great but it doesn't start till 7. So let's talk about Pets now because we booked this hotel specifically because they advertise as pet friendly. They are NOT PET FRIENDLY. Dogs are not allowed in cottages. When you sign for your stay they show you one spot for dogs to relieve themselves. Its dirty, its uncleaned, and its in the middle of a parking lot where there's loud traffic and noise. There are plenty of grounds to make areas for pets. They choose not to. They also inform you upon your arrival that there's an additional 100$ pet fee. Non refundable. And they inform you if you leave your pet in the room for any length of time they will call ANIMAL CONTROL and have it removed. All this should be disclosed in the pet policy online prior to booking. Overall the place has pretty flowers and could have a beautiful spot but they're declining with no seeming intent to improve. There are better hotels along the beach that will treat you better with more space for the pets.
