Archer Hotel Old Town Alexandria

Lovely! Clean! Wonderful staff!

The location was great and everyone was super nice.

Everything was perfect, but what disappointed me was the dog fee. First when I was booking, I did not see that there was a fee to bring my dog. Second, I called to make sure that it was okay and if they needed to know ahead of time. When I called they told me about the $125 fee and when I showed up, I was told that it was actually $150. They honored the $125 fee that I was told on the phone. My room fee was $229, so you can imagine my shock when I found out that I was going to be charged more than half of my room fee to bring my dog. When I called and asked what it came with, she told me nothing. They did put a small dog bed and bowls in there, but the pet fee feels excessive especially when I'm not getting a bigger room and it is costing me more than half of my room fee.

The property is absolutely lovely. It’s modern, but comfy, not all glass and chrome. Every space made me want to sit and enjoy. They lit the fire pit for us and we had AKB delivered to us there. The entire experience made me want to come back for a longer stay.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Love the location! We’ve stayed here multiple times.

The room was disappointing. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a classic room, NEVER again. The sound was terrible, the room was small and the thermostat was impossible to maintain a comfortable temperature and the light that was blaring from it kept me up all night! I was highly disappointed from this particular stay. Also the staff that check us in…. FABULOUS!!! Give that girl a raise she was friendly, excited, covered all of the amenities…however the one that checked us out made me feel subpar.
