Holiday Inn Express Canandaigua, NY

Clean, good breakfast.

Small refrigerator, air conditioner wasn’t working, room showing some wear in the bathroom.

Breakfast was average. Fresh brewed coffee was great, but only one machine was working. Location was excellent for seeing the area.

Staff was great

Wedding rehearsal party outside our room very loud until after midnight. Staff did eventually break up the party

breakfast had a great variety of food.

I had called the day before explaining that my wife is temporarily disabled and we would arrive around 2:15-2:30and would need to check in at this time. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. I was told room not ready had to be cleaned and give them 20 minutes. At 2:15 we were only people in lobby for check-in. When came back inside because we were waiting outside there were several people who went in and were also waiting. The lady said she couldn't check us in had to wait for the check-in person. At 3:00 they started the check-in. We were late for my niece's wedding. We were not able to leave hotel until almost 3:40pm. This is the first Holiday Inn Express that we used and didn't allow early check-in. The lady who assisted with check-in was sorry about the mix up and the man who checked us in changed our room to first floor do to my wife having a temporarily being disabled. They gentleman behind the counter at 2:15 pm who said the room wasn't ready was no where to be found when we went back in. There wasn't anyone behind the counter .
