Sage N Sand Motel

Very clean, recently renovated, and comfortable beds! Good towels, bedding, and toiletries, nice furniture, a good-sized fridge, and a couple of table/desk surfaces to sit and write or work on a laptop. The family that owns this place is really kind and they all are eager to make sure your experience there is a great one.

Nothing in particular. There are no fancy views from any windows or anything, and some parts of the parking lot are a little more snug than others, but even if you couldn’t park right in front of your room, you wouldn’t have to walk very far. This is very nit-picky stuff, though. We’ve stayed there twice and recommended it to another person we were travelling with this time who also thought it was great. Next time we’re in the area we plan to stay there again!

The rooms were clean and had a nice separate area for the fridge with its own counter. The price was unbeatable for the value. I met the owners, a husband and wife who run the whole place themselves, and they were so friendly and accommodating. We arrived early for an all day concert, and they let us check in early to drop off our stuff so we wouldn't have to worry about it later. If you're staying in Moses Lake, this is the best place to stay.

The hospitality of owners and the size of rooms were amazing. It was so clean and surprisingly the rooms were large.

You get a real key. Isn’t a dislike per say but makes your really responsible :)

The room was clean, and check-in and check-out were simple and convenient. I liked the floors and the location.

The listing stated that the rooms were fully renovated, but that wasn't my experience. They appeared to be only partially renovated. The bed was extremely squeaky. Even though I was sleeping alone and I'm a petite person, every movement made noise, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. I was disappointed that there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room. There was a microwave but no cups, so I couldn't even heat water for tea. Every hotel or motel I've stayed at before has provided at least a kettle or coffee maker with cups. There was also no hairdryer, which was surprising. Fortunately, I had packed my own. When I checked out, I noticed a water cooler with a hot water option in the office and thought I could finally get some hot water for tea. Unfortunately, the cooler was empty, and only a tiny amount came out before it stopped. I ended up having to go to the nearest Starbucks just to get hot water. Overall, I think the listing should more accurately reflect the condition of the rooms and the amenities provided.
