Breakfast was just ok. Not much selection. We liked it was a big old Inn with character. It was in walking distance to the restaurant we ate at that night and a few shops. Pretty location. Cool old Inn.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t like it’s cleanliness. Our room was not clean! It smelled like a stinky old bathroom. The floor in our bathroom had dirt and hair visibly seen in all its corners. I had a wrapper behind the toilet on the floor which shows it wasn’t swept. The tub looked dirty, the glass shelf next to my sink was filthy! Dust, toothpaste, water circles. Who knows last time it was cleaned. Mirror had specks of toothpaste on it. Dresser and lamp so so dusty! I was afraid to use a Kleenex provided. I asked for a porch connecting room and got one. The porch was dirty, rickety, and dead flowers. The furniture in our room looked like everything just needed a good update. We had an old fashion blind on our door that went out to the porch that had to be rigged to keep it down at night. I could go on and on. The restaurant part was closed on our day there but after seeing the lack of cleanliness in our room, I don’t think I would have ate there. I’m sorry for such a bad rating. This beautiful old Inn needs some seriously tender loving care and some house cleaners that take their job seriously! It has such potential!!!!!

The people where really kind, I mean beyond the norm. The atmosphere was antique and well appointed

The walls are thin and people aren't aware of how loud they are. I had to listen to this woman's phone conversation in the room next door. I was watching Netflix and finally turned it up really loud so she could hear it and figure out I could hear her. She got more quiet after that. Whew

Restaurant off the lobby was adequate, food was pretty good.

Room walls and floors seem paper thin, you can hear everything in the whole place. Bathroom small, and shower was weird. No TVs in room, heat was hard to figure. Bed was old/uncomfortable. It is a very, very old inn and building, so I suppose some of that can be expected, but at those prices....

The room was OVER hot. The temp gauge had no direction for use. Amenities were minimal.

Old historic inn that has a great restaurant and the staff is excellent. Rooms are bare bones but bed is comfortable. No TV in rooms but I didn't come here to watch TV. Restaurant and bar have TVs if you need one.

Heat is either steam or hot water so it cycles, gets really hot then cools over time then cycles again. Once you get use to it it is fine.

The continental breakfast was exactly that, scones, muffins, instant oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice, and yogurt. The yogurt selection was nice and the containers were large and the (made-offsite) baked goods were fresh.

the public bathroom needs an update and a ventilation fan.

nice old house, beautiful decor, good restaurant, 20 min from Okemo resort, relatively reasonable price

the bed was not comfortable (too soft), it was not possible to control the temprrature in the room, it changed from too hot to too cold, without any changes from our side
