Best Western Inn & Suites - Lake Charles

One of the things I appreciated most was the convenient location. The property was close to just about every place I needed to go, which made getting around so easy and saved us a lot of time. It was especially nice not having to spend a lot of time driving back and forth.

I was disappointed with the condition of the swimming pool. The water appeared slightly green, and the bottom of the pool felt slippery, which seemed like it could have been algae. Each time someone took a step, more of it appeared to rise from the bottom and make the water look even greener. We informed the staff, and they explained that the pool had been cleaned a couple of days earlier and that they would address the issue. Unfortunately, the pool was still green the following day, so we did not feel comfortable using it. I was especially disappointed because I was traveling with two teenagers who were unable to enjoy the pool during our stay. I hope the hotel takes steps to ensure the pool is properly cleaned and maintained for future guests.

The facility itself is needs some money put into it , It’s not being kept up. It has overgrown landscape , Broken columns.It has all the pool chairs and everything are all broken stacked up in a pile. The rooms are outdated. The Staff are amazing! The ladies took very good care of us. That was the best part of our experience was the housekeeping, staff, and the front desk staff.

We we’re disappointed that there was holes in the towels, and we could not lay by the pool or sit by the pool because all the chairs have big holes in them and we’re stacked up in a pile!
