Great central location…near Manteo and Nags Head.

First impression? As soon as the door opened, we were hit with a terrible smell. Kinda like moth balls in a musty old house. It was also filthy. We saw multiple bugs…alive and dead. Dirt and dust were caked in every corner. The floor itself was coming apart in the middle of the room.

Room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful views from our room.

Our only complaint was the smell. It's clear the room had some water damage at some point as there was a soft spot on the floor, no big deal we just avoided the area, but the whole room smelled musty to the point our hair and clothes took the smell home.

Not too much

No staff to check in. Unacceptable phone/text line to try to get issues we had resolved. We couldn't get into the room and had to stand in the extreme heat to trying to contact someone. Also, very loud traffic noise. The code sent to us wouldn't open the door and no one there to assist. After several calls texts and several door codes sent we were finally able to get into the room. Once inside, the room didn't look like the pictures of the room that I booked. We were charged a resort fee where there was nothing to do on premises. I needed to try to get a room on the first floor and wasn't offered one up front even after telling the agent about my problem with heights. After about an hour I received a text that they had a room downstairs, but the agent left before I could even respond (just a few minutes) while I walked down to the car and back) and no one reached out after 5pm, so we were out of luck. I left several phone messages, but phone calls were not returned after 5:00pm. I received a message that we were to clean up, and dump trash. What hotel/motel expects guests to dump trash in the dumpster. We waisted considerable time trying to get into the room, needing to change rooms and couldn't, etc. I don't recall in my life (senior) having an experience quite like this. How can they operate when they don't have agents/staff to even help after 5:00pm? They say they do, but they didn't get back to me. I don't recall this property being listed as an air b&b. I was expecting there to be people on premises. Others that we spoke with were also expecting a check in lounge. We and others were walking around aimlessly trying to figure out how to check in. In my opinion, Not a professional way to run a business. Also, after this dreadful experience, and with me trying to explain the issues we faced, they keep sending me text messages trying to make it sound like they did everything right, unbelievable.

we have stayed here many times and are usually satisfied. we picked a one big unit this time which was small and cramped there was no table to set anything there was no shampoo or soap in the bathroom dispensers the bed only had three pillows instead of four.

Loved the space in room. Had plenty of closet space would be nice for a long stay

Jets didn't work in the bathtub. I had to tape around the windows in one of the rooms because they would not close and had cold air blasting through.

There was no breakfast. Location was okay but pulling up to a construction sight felt very discomforting. The place looked like a vacant property upon arrival. Had to call for a room number and door code. Code didn’t work and had to call back 3 times to get a valid code. Room sucked to be a recently remodeled room. I would not recommend anyone to stay there again.
