Super 8 by Wyndham Belleville St. Louis Area

It was clean and in a great location!!!!

It was a little old and a bit outdated if I had to be picky

Good value for money. Just wanted a suitable overnight accommodations for myself, spouse, and dog. Clean and well appointed room.

Vending machines could/should accept credit cards!

The location was perfect and staff were extremely courteous, helpful, and kind. Anytime I needed assistance they were eager to help remedy the situation.

There was a mix up that happened one of the nights and another guest that was checking in was mistakenly given the key to our room and walked in while we were watching TV. We later realized they were supposed to be given the key to the room next door. Luckily it was an easy fix, but in the moment it caught us off guard and was a little alarming. Also, when we checked in we realized a prior guest had stashed some fast food containers behind the bed and these were missed when housekeeping cleaned the room before we checked in.

The property was easy to find, I was traveling cross country and needed a place to stay, and that was a plus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean, nothing fancy, but had all the basic essentials except a coffee machine.

The major thing was our room reeked strongly of cigarette smoke. I don’t believe this was a smoking allowed room, and there’s no way you could’ve missed the smell while cleaning the place, so to rent it out people without making sure that smell was removed was not a great idea. My only other issue was there was no coffee machine or way to make coffee, even though I believe in the description when I booked it said there were coffee machines in the room.
