The “new” non-smoking room reeked of smoke and was very run down.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. We needed a handicap room, they did not have one, but the moved us to 1st floor by the entrence.

I purchased for extra $10/ night / person for the breakfast, They informed us that that feature was not turned off. They apologized, this need to be fixed and refunds offered to guest that paid for this feature.

The bathroom fan was noisy like it needs to be replaced,. The room didn't have a hair dryer. Someone parked their truck directly next to my room window, and they had a broken muffler, so every time they started it up was always startling Most hotel rooms I have stayed at have have charging ports for cellphones, so kinda surprised this location didn't have that upgrade in the rooms yet I highly disliked that upon entering the hotel that I had to pass casino machines to get to the front desk, the intensity of the cigarette smoke was overwhelming. It felt dark and not very welcoming and cheerful

What we didn't know is that the Super 8 is housed in the Bonanza Casino. Signage was non-existent on how to find the front desk to check in. Still, we are Nevada residents, so casiino atmosphere is not something we find unappealing although we don't gamble. On the plus side, they do have a nice restaurant in house, and the morning coffee bar for guests is out of this world. Cleaniness as far as bedding, floors, tabletops was fine. The was a bid of water damage both in the room proper and in the bathroom. The bathroom stain had what looked mysteriously like mold, not bad, but there. It would be an easy clean up if the hotel wanted to spend the time and employee effort to deal with it. Location wise, it couldn't have been better. In the center of town, it made getting around super easy. We would stay again.
