We prepaid for the breakfast with our room. It was buffet style, and the food and servicer were very good.

The location was absolutely beautiful and the the story behind how it came to be amazing!

Love the secluded setting and the overall aesthetic of the buildings fit perfectly with the environment! The buffet style southern breakfast was amazing.

I love the feeling of "away-ness" right in my backyard. You get the wilderness feeling with all of the comforts of home. This was my third visit to this resort and the amenities include a hot tub for personal use. I love that!

Unfortunately, I experienced a significant issue with my reservation at the onsite restaurant, Secret Garden. The customer service I encountered was extremely disappointing. The situation upset me so much that I decided to leave the resort a day early and will not be returning. I did inform the front desk at checkout about what occurred, but to keep this brief: in my opinion, there were clear racial undertones in how I was treated. Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was told, “We will check availability,” which was unsettling. Additionally, I was spoken to in a condescending, infantilizing manner. The employee then instructed another staff member to seat us in a “separate” area—without asking for our preference and without acknowledging that we were standing right there. The entire interaction was disrespectful, disheartening, and frankly, unacceptable. Overall, it was a horrible experience. We will not be patronizing the resort again.
