New Gardena Hotel

This hotel was within walking distance to nearby restaurants which was convenient after a long 6 hour drive. The venue/event we had to attend was 1/2 mile away however it was too hot to walk so we drove. The AC in the hotel room was a nice respite afterwards as the temperature outside was a blistering 104 degrees. This hotel is clean and the one thing I noticed is that they change out the mattress pad on every single bed after check out. We highly recommend this hotel as it was a pleasant stay.

The american breakfast was a bit disappointing, however one can eat across the street at the iHop restaurant.

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was organized and you can choose between a Japanese or American breakfast. The complimentary miso soup was nice.

I was surprised it was only a 2 star because it’s in line with some 3 star rated hotels. It’s clean and staff are very nice, professional, courteous and accommodating. Breakfast was pretty filling. There’s a Japanese or American option for breakfast and it’s free. Also parking was free and gated/secure!

Not too much negative other than it can be a bit noisy since it faces a busy street and we were on the 4th floor and the sink drains slow.

Good staff. Good proximity to where we needed to be. Nice and clean. Bed comfortable.

A bit noisy from outside. Air con a bit of a rattler too.
