You guys have these nice properties and then y'all get cheap bed frames and cheap hard mattresses. Spend the extra money for better beds and mattresses. Nothing worse than trying to relax on a squeaky hard bed

Staff was very friendly. Price was great. Very clean

Pool was cold. Couldn’t take breakfast back to the room. Not much of a choice to get for breakfast.

At 1 minute before 9, all food were removed (we saw it as we approached), so we missed the "included breakfast" - staff at check-in did not state time of breakfast (and I forgot to ask). Something in the room, on the floor/carpet bit me - around ankles/lowe leg only; i put itch cream on and it went away ...

Beds were quite comfortable and bedding/pillows were nice. Front lobby and restaurant area are done up nicely. Microwave and fridge in the room. Came with breakfast until 9 am that was fine - bagels, baked items, toast, DIY waffles, two hot items, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, oatmeal, etc. We didn't get rooms fast enough in Blacksburg for family weekend, so we made the 25 minute drive out here. This location was better than others farther away and cost somewhat less. Indoor hallways, elevators.

Randomly, we had a bunch of wasps in our room, which is one of the weirdest things we have ever had happen in a hotel stay. We tried to call for assistance, but our phone didn't work. The plug to charge phones by our bed was broken. Odd stains on the sheer curtains, and large tears in them. Peeling paint on the exterior of the building. Plants growing out of the gutter outside. Essentially, much deferred maintenance. The swimming pool photographs better than it is (only about 4 feet and cold!) but we enjoyed sitting in the hot tub spa briefly. I don't think we would stay here again. But with the amenities, it was definitely better than the lowest level options.
