The room, it was tired and general grim

They staff was nice.

For one week in February for the last 4 years, we have rented a room at this Travel Lodge and was never unhappy with the experience but this year the rooms were disgusting. We liked the staff, they have always been friendly during our stays and we were reluctant about leaving this review but future potential customers should know what they are paying for. There was dead cocroaches in our original room and pee on the toilet seat. We requested to be moved to another room which appeared to be cleaner. By the end of the 4-day stay we had discovered more roach carcasses and on the last night I killed two live ones. The chairs in both of the rooms looked absolutely filthy and had numerous stains. It looked like the walls, doors, and mirrors hadn't been wiped down in awhile. The floors were so dirty it turned the bottom of my feet near black. The toilet in the second room had issues flushing. There is water damage around the bottom of the cabinet in the bathroom which has rotted the wood. The two rooms below is is occupied by a family of three adults & two children, that are living there long term, they have toys and debri scattered around their front door areas giving the hotel a tacky appearance. It cost us $159 A NIGHT for the room and that was about $120 too much. We will NEVER be staying at this travel lodge again.

the refrigerator and microwave were clean, but we didn’t have any use for them. There is no way on earth that I would have eaten or even prepared any food in that gross room. The a/c worked.

To say that it was run-down would be a compliment. I spent $143.55 for the “pleasure” of sleeping in my clothes - including my socks - because the floor was so yucky. The first time I turned on the bathroom light I was greeted by a cockroach which was alive and well and just hanging out on the lid of the toilet. I literally didn’t even wash my face or brush my teeth because I didn’t want to have to stay in there any longer than absolutely necessary. The furniture was upholstered and had apparently NEVER been cleaned - covered in filth and stains. Be sure and check out the ironing board - unless you wanted to iron something that was already black, I certainly wouldn’t use it. The hair dryer was so old and in such poor condition that the metal cover on the back was rusted and barely attached making it dangerous to use. Two small pillows were provided - smaller than queen size for sure. The white Sheets and pillowcases had old stains. I was very glad that I had brought my own blanket so I didn’t have to use the one provided. Weird goopy stuff by hinges of door. Curtain didn’t completely close. Tub and shower head - no way I was using either. Mattress itself wasn’t;t comfortable. They didn’t even bother to paint the outside of the doors, which gives a clue about lack of attention given to inside the room. The Travelodge sign wasn’t even lit at night causing us to completely miss it. I have many more photos that I could have attached but didn’t have the option to do so. I will be posting all photos on TripAdvisor and Yelp unless I get a total refund on my credit card.

Perfect and very clean

The pictures of rooms is OUT dated!! Room has misty oder, roaches. Stove hasn’t been cleaned in a long time cabinets have smell and blue tape on cabinet doors with old grease on cabinets… extremely Filthy and disgusting. We walked right out didn’t stay but unfortunately didn’t get a refund, told it’s our room for the night.
