Room was comfortable, pleasant. Tub shower not as convenient as a walk in shower but worked well. Breakfast was limited in options for the first morning seemed high in Carbs. Our second morning the egg, sausage seemed more appealing to our expectations with more emphasis on proteins. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others who want a more economical place to stay while visiting the Canyonland area. It was conveniently located for access to the southern entrance to the Canyonlands, Bears Ears or Canyons of the Ancients.

More emphasis on protein offerings for breakfast. Limit access to the unit from the north door after a set time in the evening. Our experience in other offerings has always included a lock activated by the room key after say 11:00 pm. Given that we still felt comfortable with the facilities and will recommend it to others looking for facilities close to Moab but not in Moab itself or wanting facilities conveniently located to lands of the ancients in Southwest Colorado and Southeast Utah.

Best thing about this motel was the shower head in the bathroom. It was great. Otherwise the motel is acceptable. It is probably the best available in Monticello and that is not saying much. It is in a good location.

No elevator. 80 year old people dragging suitcases up two flights of stairs was not a pretty site. The motel is old, but well maintained and updated. The outside doors on the hallway do not lock - a safety concern.
