Extended Stay America Select Suites - Chicago - Naperville - East

Friendly staff ... room spacious and clean .... staff resolved problem with double billing (we had paid Sept. 12 by PayPal but night clerk had wife pay by Visa ... then morning staff confirmed our earlier payment and refunded the Sept. 14 payment (credit to Visa card). Location was quiet ... and we slept well.

2 lights had to be unplugged or the light unscrewed to turn them off ... bathroom door was damaged on the bottom edge (could be painted easily or kick plate over edge). Original microwave in room unplugged but 2nd microwave was plugged in. (unplugged one should be removed). No washcloths with towels. Had to wet a corner of a towel to have a washcloth. It was late and desk was closed when we discovered this. Did not want to connect with staff in our night wear. So overall impression is ... how careful is this lodging with other details needed for security?

Rooms were clean and basic toiletries were provided and staffs were very helpful and nice. It was very quiet and normal humans around. Had a nice stay and would recommend.

It’s little run down and there were unpleasant smells. Could get rid of smells with deodorizer. Shower curtains should be changed because it wasn’t waterproof and water was getting all over the floor. Tighted the shower head because it was moving 😭😭 DEODORIZE THE ROOM FOR REAL🙌🏼🙌🏼 and hall ways. Rooms are smoke free but it was smelling bad 🤷🏻‍♀️

It was in a quiet area

The carpet in the hallway seemed dirty

Comfortable bed

Elevator floor dirty, hallway dingy and dirty, peeling paint in room
