Convenient to restaurants and shops

Too noisy and expensive

Great coffee & breakfast, friendly staff, nice gym, great room/shower. Clean!!

No air flow in gym, 1 of only 2 treadmills broken.

Location .. short stroll to main pedestrian Street. Quality clean hotel.

Still felt proportionally pricey compared to other hotels on our tour but seems to be a Charlottesville thing. Supply demand. Some improvement works in progress but didn't affect our stay.

We have stayed there before. They are currently undertaking a lobby renovation but it did not a disturbance.

Staff, food, and room were great!

Location

Morning there was a lot of construction. Also lights wouldn’t work or refrigerator for the first couple hours and I had sushi. I notified front desk as soon as I arrived three times and was told it would be 10-15 minutes each time. Finally someone came in with an extension cord for the fridge - he was great.

The location was great - close to food and shops, and live music, not to mention UVA. Our room had been recently remodeled, and was clean and beautifully decorated. Every staff member we encountered was very nice.

The hotel was in the midst of renovations during our stay. The noise was a bit unfortunate, but couldn’t be helped. They did a great job of making sure we were comfortable despite the construction.

You did not tell us the hotel was under major renovations, and that was a big deal!! Not sure if we will use booking.com again.
