The Bivvi Hostel

Affordable, comfortable and clean rooms in a unique and beautiful lodge setting. Nick and Russell were great hosts.

Very good place for family stay. Very spacious room for two. Kitchen facility for preparing your own meal is simply awesome.

It’s cost with a fireplace and hot tub. Enough seats to enjoy in the lobby, engage in conversations or sit upstairs quietly.

The Bivvi provided a good value in Breckenridge, especially with the included Breakfast, which was very good. Located in a large house, it features a large common room and a deck which are enjoyable for lounging or socializing with other guests. The bunk was comfortable overall.

The experience is not as premium as the description and pictures try to convey. It is more of what you'd expect from a middle of the range hostel, not something above the norm. While its nice that you have a bathroom that's shared only with the people in your room, it was cramped and rather outdated. There were also some safety concerns in the room: there was no smoke detector (only the mounting plate where it should have been), and there is some DIY wiring for the individual reading lamps that looks pretty sketchy.
