Holiday Lodge

The mattress, sheets, blanket and spread helped me warm up quickly— I was shivering within a minute of entering the room (because of the motorcycle ride at night). The room/furnishings appear dated, but the amenities had been amply provided.

I always appreciate a cup of coffee, even late at night, but I didn’t want to ask at that hour.

Nice clean comfortable room. Good service.

The wifi password didn't work.

The price was excellent for a Saturday night stay. I was planning to take US-395 to Lake Tahoe, but the favorable price made me take US-95 instead and stop in Hawthorne Nevada. I remember staying here many years ago, but did not like how the room was sized for a very short person. They have upgraded significantly and this will be my new budget-friendly favorite when traveling between Las Vegas and Reno/Tahoe. I really like how they have made AC power available in key places to make charging easier.

The leather chairs are showing a bit of wear and tear.

No breakfast

The bathroom counter looked like it was ready to collapse.
