San Luis Obispo Hostel

Room was clean. We had a family room which had a great bathroom that can be shared with others during the day. They offered a hot breakfast that sounded really good but we had to leave early and missed it.

Parking could not be reserved and there a party going on when we arrived. One of the guest's guest had taken a parking spot and could not be predicted when they were to leave. Streets around are very dark with little lights. We had to find parking elsewhere about 3, 4 blocks away. There was no air conditioning which was no problem for us in September but can get warm in the summer.

I loved the communal vibes of this place. Found myself chatting to so many folks, getting to know the staff. Eating breakfast and dinners together. Everyone was super cool, welcoming, and helpful. I’d stay again.

Need to be offered locks for the lockers in the rooms. While everyone was very trustworthy, still would have liked to have myself locked away.

Communication with different people- no TV just talk and music

Mmm no disrespect but the shower rug was saturated and the tile in front of the shower was falling off. Also I can get a free couch/chair for the outback smoking and talking area. Lots of good simple things to make it EVEN more comfortable

I and my wife was stayed in the Deluxe Queen Room The breakfast is horrible. The so-called breakfast was just a bowl of pancake batter. You must make the pancake by yourself. First, the pancake batter was tasted bad. Secondly, the pancake griddle temperature knob was being locked, and the temperature was set too low. It’s impossible to cook the pancake batter firm and golden brown. When I book the hotel, it said breakfast is included and “A complimentary American breakfast is served daily”.
