The decor was cute. Comfy chair. Fridge and microwave worked well.
Breakfast was disappointing. No options for a diabetic. Small TV.

Quiet, cute little place. Near the highway and truck stop, but not too noisy. Good views, and surrounding property.
Room was clean and cozy. Nice natural lightbulb over the bed.
Cute little breakfast nook with a few basic choices.
Strong smell of cleaner or perfume that was easily cleared out by opening the window.
Too much religious centered items in the room. No extra towels in the room (just enough for two people for one night which was fine).
No outlets on one side of the bed was odd, bed appeared to have been rotated to another wall recently, there were signs of damage and repairs to both walls from the headboard.
We had a dehumidifier in our room, which was odd. Never stayed somewhere that had one before.
Fly swattter on the wall for the few flies and mosquitoes that snuck in while the door was open

We have stayed here several different years and again found it clean, well equipped and comfortable. We feel safe staying here and enjoy ourselves.
No pool or hot tub but it won't keep us from coming back.

this was a nice little hotel on the top of the hill. coming back to DSM after the hawkeye game, we were really glad to have the room instead of driving home with everyone else. the room was clean and spacious. while dated, everything was in great working order. we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel in general. the room was decorated nicely and perfectly clean. the door was safe and secure, no worries about it being a motel, opening to the outside instead of a hallway. overall, we would definitely stay there again.
even though breakfast was a little lackluster, but since i didn't expect anything, it was good in that regard.
