I loved the location.
Renters, though, need to be aware of the lack of elevator service between floor levels. The bathroom is also very small and cramped. The hotel had so much character but lacked certain things I like such as some place to watch tv. Having a supply of games such as cards, uno, etc., would have helped as well.

The location was excellent, close to our ferry departure. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
No other restaurants nearby. The kitchen was not open for breakfast at 7:30 am as hoped for. The dinner menu could offer more options; the fare was standard. The service at the cafe was excellent, the staff were very polite and helpful.

Great location to see ferries and the ocean/bay. It was gorgeous. Staff was friendly. Nice to have music performances in the evening. Having a cafe was a plus. also grocery store across the way.
Stairs hard to climb if you are elderly.
No refrigerator, coffee, iron in room.
No overhead light. Just lamps.
We were in room #2 and the bathroom was toooo small. My husband joked he could use the toilet and brush his teeth at the same time.
Not really a check in spot. Had to go to cafe and ask someone to check you out and in.
I wish the new owners would have said Hi to us . Greet the guests.

Hospitality was great. The food was ok…nice old building a rock throw away from the ferry terminal
Over priced. 250.00 per night for 180sf room, and the bath is across the hall.
