The Host and the facilities were excellent. The B&B is located within walking distance of the town and local historic district which is worth seeing by foot. The breakfast was great and the service at our Host at the facility equally great. If staying in the Altoona, Pa area this is well worth the place to stay.

Great breakfast made and served by the host. Historic house with a lot of antiques in the rooms.
Liked everything.

Owner was very sweet. Breakfast was better than the standard continental breakfasts from chain hotels. Room temp can be controlled.
Rest of house was hot. Owner did not show us around to know where things were or where we could or could not go. One room that actually had a tea and coffer station we could not tell by looking from the hallway. The owner had personal music equipment he was restoring on the table. In the morning the stairs were very dark and I ended up missing a step and falling down a few stairs. The house was old and had an old smell to it. No tv in room. Bed and pillows were a bit too firm for us but other may like that.
