Amazing place. Right on the border of the national park so ideally situated for exploring. Also close enough to enjoy downtown Estes Park while maintaining a rural quiet cabin feel. Made very welcome by friendly staff. Cabin was well equipped with kitchen essentials, plus very comfortable sofa/ seating and bed. I made use of the community hot tub to ease tired legs after a long days hiking.
Nothing!

I didn't realize the second bed was a pull out in the kitchen. Staff is great. Cute little resort in a nice location. Our cabin was just a bit smaller than I anticipated, but was clean, everything worked well. I would consider staying here again but in a larger cabin.
The pullout bed in the kitchen..kind of awkward.

Pine Haven far exceeded my expectations! Rustic vibe but absolutely clean, and everything was high quality.
Bed and pillows a little firm for me.

Great Time! My wife and i stayed in cabin 12 and it was a great time! We were touring rocky mountain national park and this location is perfectly a couple miles away! We woke up twice to elk sunbathing just a tennis ball throw away from our porch! There was a trail that lead to an amazing and completely private 'outlook' where we climbed to and had amazing night time vistas! There is a restaurant one property over that made a nice steak dinner that we walked back to enjoy! Their are private fire rings along the stream at the base of the camp and they sell fifewood - highly recommend with a bottle of vino! The other camp next did is apparently the sister camp for the owners and they had a issue bar with live music playing which was a treat! We also jumped in the communal hot tub and really enjoyed ourselves! The best part is the character of the place! You can tell lots of work and love go into creating this neat and welcoming enviorment. My ONE gripe is that our shower was tight for me... But would I will I be back? Absolutely without and without pause! Vince

Staff was so friendly and helpful. Extremely clean cabin.
It is a cabin and rustic…but the floor upstairs was so creaky and loud that it was impossible to sleep
downstairs if someone upstairs was walking around.

The Best Place in Estes Park

We loved the location - in the pines but very close to the downtown area, and it had a great onsite hiking trail that within 10 minutes took you to a great view of the mountains. The cabins were clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy. We didn't get to try out any of the features like fishing, hot tub, or firepit, but if we come back in the future we definitely will as they all looked great. The staff was very friendly. At one point our power shorted in the front half of the cabin, and staff came immediately to sort it out and get it back on. We loved the SmartCast TV where we could watch our own movies and TV shows, and we valued the space heater tremendously. We also appreciated the designated parking spot and the kitchen amenities. We loved our stay and hope to organize a large group gathering here in the future!
Everything was great and we loved our stay so nothing that I list here would keep us from coming back. The heater in our cabin made a ton of noise at night, lots of random bangs, to the point where the next morning all three of us realized none of us had slept well. The next night we turned that heater off and just used the space heater they had plugged in, and it worked perfectly. We also felt a small lack of privacy due to no blinds on the windows (only curtains that in some cases only partially covered the windows and the wall between the two bedrooms). We had to constantly take turns changing clothes in the small bathroom since there was nowhere else to do it without risking being seen by passersby. We also could have done with some new towels at some point during the stay, but it didn't appear that housekeeping ever came by.

The cabin was very clean. It looked well maintained. The stove, refrigerator and microwave worked great. It had plenty of silverware and dishes for the 3 of us. There were 2 heaters in the cabin that worked extremely well. The location was perfect for us. A couple miles outside of Estes Park and a few miles the other direction to the Rocky Mountain Park. Check in and check out were super easy and quick.
We only had 1 car so it was fine but parking is really tight. One cabin had several cars and it did make it impossible to drive that way. There was a lot of extension cords and power strips used which I didn't feel was very safe. The water for the shower was just warm but the water in the kitchen was very hot. It is very small. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin so it was ok. They did advertise fishing pole rentals, which was a big selling point for us, but when we got there they said they did not have any. The décor is a little cluttered.

Great location, only 5 minutes from an entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, and less than 10 minutes from Estes Park commercial area. The cabins are beautiful and the resort is very cozy and inviting.
The kitchen is well equipped with the basics including an outside barbecue, but only salt and pepper. For this type of kitchen, I would have a few more basics like cooking oil, a couple of bottles of water, etc.
