Location was amazing

During the night we received a call because they claimed I was in the wrong room. The room of course was the one given at checkin. I didn’t managed to sleep the whole night

Good position. Games and activities (also for children) are available in the case one prefers to stay in the hotel.

Room needs some refreshment. Wallpaper falling down and not fixed (despite of the promise). Large bath-room but not real places to put personal items inside. Circulating air with bad smell. Parking quite expensive.

Great location was definitely the best thing. Comfortable bed and room (other than bathroom).

I had some problems with the bathtub and toilet and eventually had to change rooms. The bathroom needs renovation. They made a weird authorization for a payment that is 200€ more than the actual amount of my stay and it is still pending a week later, after having paid the stay full on check out. When I messaged the hotel, they replied it would be removed 7-10 business days after check out, which is ridiculous as I already paid the full amount and I'm not willing for them to still have 600+ euros from me for no reason. That just reflects lack of care. I really wanted to like the hotel and did like the bedroom, and the housekeeping staff were really friendly etc, but not handling the payments professionally leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

The concierge was great and very friendly

Perfect location, loved the rooms and the games room downstairs. The free tea and coffee, little chocolate hearts in reception.

While the checkin, the taxes included and garage parking weren’t clear When we questioned the staff about the charges, they didn’t like it, as we were doubting of their work.

Location is right opposite busy Fisherman’s wharf.

I would have given the property an 8 except they took a deposit of $35 per day which didn’t get paid back for 10 days. That was unacceptable. There should have been no deposit taken. Long walk to room. Asked for a quiet room but got one that was noisy from 10 am to until 10.30pm. It enough explanation by staff on how things worked.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Facility was clean.

The extraordinarily high cost of parking overnight. No excuse for a $65 charge for parking right on the premises. I was surprised, also, that there was no restaurant or coffee shop within the hotel. A serious lack for a hotel as large as the Zephyr.

Fantastic hotel right at the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf. Lovely sized clean and comfortable room. Quirky hotel with fantastic facilities. Love the little touch of having Schmores around the fire-pit in the courtyard! Lovely friendly helpful staff.

This the 2 time I stayed at this hotel. The room are really dated and need some renovation. Shower head are damaged. Closet door cant slide and etc. Lastly. Front lobby staffs are really cold. Feels like a motel. Not a hotel.

Top Lage, besser geht nicht in San Francisco unserer Meinung nach. Schönes gepflegtes Hotel mit kostenlosem Kaffee und Tee in der Lobby, kostenlosem Wasser in der Etage, dass man jederzeit auffüllen konnte.

Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein. Ist aber ein nice to have.

Sehr freundliches Personal sind sehr bemüht. Feuerstellen sind sehr schön bei der Aussenanlage.Tolle Lage in einem sicheren Gebiet

Me surpreendeu positivamente. A localização é excelente, perto do fisherman's wharf com bondinho passando na porta. No terreo tem um salao de jogos muito bom, além de outras atividades ludicas no patio externo; As crianças amaram brincar aqui. Tem lareiras nesse pátio externo para esquentar e comer um smore. Café espresso no quarto e na recepção foi um luxo! com opção de descafeinado e chá. Staff super gentil e atencioso. Recomendo muito esse hotel.

Falta uma opção de café da manhã no hotel, aí ficaria perfeito. Poderiam ter "smore a vontade" nos dias frios, ou pelo menos 1 por hospede por dia ;-)

The location, close to everything we needed for two days after our contiki. Service was great, and housekeeping cleaned our rooms daily which was lovely. Enjoyed the fresh water and ice on our floor plus the fresh water bottles and s’mores (great touch). Downstairs was great for socialising next to the bar and to chill and play games.

The only downfall which was annoying every morning the housekeeping were knocking on the doors as early as 9am and disrupted us twice to clean the next rooms to us. The walls/doors are so thin it makes u think there coming into your room. This did disrupt our sleep on both days. We also could hear everyone above us when they moved during the night.

Good location

Hotel charged an extra night and would not reverse charges even after working with front desk and through booking.com. I'm disappointed with both the hotel and booking.com

The welcoming lobby. Very nice. The games experience. Yes. The outdoor experience. Yes The s'mores. Yes The ZepherWalk. Yes The location to walk to Pier 39. The rooms were fantastic. Self Parking. Yes. The vibe! Very cool.

Huh? This place has it all. The weather was too cold, but firepits helped.

Cool and funky hotel, good value and the games room and yard make it more than just somewhere to sleep!

The beds were too small for two people, even with an adult and a child we struggled. The Double/doubles really need a queen bed!

Location is excellent, close to pier 39 and many restaurants. Also the cable car stop is not far. Games in the public area were very nice and welcoming. The fires lightened up every night gave a warm atmosphere and it was pleasant to spend the evening in the hotel. Pity there is no bar open after 9 pm.

The room dimensions are not really comfortable for a family of 4 people. The structure starts to be outdated, but this does not harm the comfort. The rooms are not entirely soundproof and you can hear something from (noisy) neighbours. All this however does not impair the quality of the stay, which is very high and with good value for money. I need to say that the wi-fi was not always working properly. I agree with other travellers that the price of the parking is too much, in particular compared to the surroundings. The staff at reception did not insist on "selling" me the parking service: this is highly appreciated.

The location was very central and perfect for us. The communal areas downstairs were great with all the games and activities.

The rooms were very basic and I felt more could have been done to improve their decor. We were expecting more of a wow factor based on the pictures. The parking was extremely expensive, even though we only needed it for one day
