Pool

The breakfast was terrible.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, located near the airport, shuttle to the airport was good. Staff arranged for us to use the pool in the neighbouring hotel.

Pool was out of order. The music in the elevators, pool area, hallways, front dek was intrusive and loud. Might be better to choose something with less of a disco beat and more relaxing, and turn the volume down.

It was nice. Clean. Convenient. Amenities were nice.

No free breakfast

Modern styling, great layout, good facilities. Hotel has a great vibe. Rooms were well equipped, very clean. Good location.

We had to prepay our room, yet our room type was not available upon check in late on a Friday night. In fact, we were told that the hotel could not accommodate us at all, our room had been booked out and no other options were available except if the 3rd guest of our group was willing to sleep on floor, yet no bedding would be available for this person as "the night staff had no access to housekeeping to access extra bedding or rollaway beds" or we were told to cancel our reservation and take up the refund with the Manager who would only be back on the Monday after the weekend. Only after we refused to cancel our stay and insisted on waiting in the reception area did the very incompetent night reception person finally concede after 40 minutes to miraculously find us a king suite room with an extra pull-out sofa and also inexplicably extra bedding was delivered to our room. This after I had updated our arrival times twice via booking.com messaging after the hotel had prompted us to confirm our arrival time. I was told I should have phoned hotel directly, yet this was not possible as we were on a long-distance flight to LAX, why should I be required to confirm my arrival by phone if the hotel had received my updated arrival times twice via their messaging system? The Night reception person was untrained and uninformed and should not be left alone at night to deal with clients.

This is a very nice airport hotel with frequent shuttles and ample parking. We booked a room with two queen beds, and the room was very spacious with comfortable beds. There was complimentary water bottles in the room and even though the hotel is next to a road, we didn't hear any noise. The staff is very helpful and shuttles depart every 20-30 minutes to LAX. They will wait for you if you ask them to, the drivers were very nice as well. The hotel has a big parking lot that you can enter/exit as you please. There is also a very nice, big pool area with plenty of loungers. Overall, it was a very good choice and we were very comfortable on our last night in LA.

The hotel didn't have a lot of breakfast options, however the front desk recommended a nice spot only a 5 minute walk away. There is a small shopping center across the hotel with some more options. The door to the bathroom is a sliding panel, so there isn't a lot of privacy if you're traveling with friends.

The hotel over charge tourism fees My partner got stuck in the bathroom. There’s wood sliding door got trapped and we had to push really hard till it finally open. My partner got stuck for 30 minutes till I got back to the room from getting ice. I explained to the supervisor and they weren’t helpful at all.

We have nothing but great things to say about Aloft at LA Airport and would highly recommend for a family. The staff were helpful at all times and couldn’t do more for us. Breakfast was perfect for us as a family.
