Residence Inn by Marriott Augusta

It was comfortable, quiet-even on the weekend of the 4th. Clean. Great location near shops restaurants. Bed comfortable, they allowed early checkin. Check in and check out was smooth and breakfast was delicious.

They did not have a pool. The tv kept lagging with Netflix. There was no lotion provided.

Great location. We had an updated room which was nice. No pullout couch though. I had so share a bed with my son. Beds are comfortable. Pillows are a no no. Soft and very flat. Take your own if you need more neck support. Not sure why hotels don’t do firmer pillows. Shower head is fabulous! Love the water pressure. Clean towels.

Breakfast was really not that great. Not a great selection. Notice stuck up to watch how much you eat “other people have to eat too…” very unprofessional. There was no toast available. Hot food was cold. We never had breakfast there during our three day stay. Went to eat around 8am. Had to keep curtains closed at all times (block-outs) as the building material was right outside our room windows and people getting on and off scaffolding. Had very little privacy and dark room during the day. Will be back but will address these issues in person next time. Nothing serious…..
