The facilities were very nice. The security actually did their job unlike many businesses I've been to, so I felt very safe. I loved loved LOVED the gulf view and private beach access. The hosts at the restaurant were very polite and met my needs. I had an overall great experience and will be back again!

I honestly just liked the view of the beach.

Nothing in the condo was as described. It said no pets allowed yet there were pets everywhere. My husband is allergic to pets and that’s why we reserved there and come to find out our condo was full of pet dander. There was hair everywhere, like literally everywhere anyone can imagine… from floors, to balcony, to bed. There were tiny roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Staff was very rude and don’t want to help in any way if you had booked online. Panhandle getaways we’re very rude as well and didn’t want to help us and our situation in any way just wanted us to basically leave ASAP when told them about our issues. In addition, security are racist and they kicked me out for wearing my religious clothing over my gym attire when exercising. Pools were suppose to open at 8. We went there 8:30 to each one and none were open they said maintenance needs to open them and none of them can help us. Nothing in the condo is as described on website and your definitely not getting what you paid for.

The location was awesome! It was directly on the beach, right up the road from Pier Park and about 10 minutes from several restaurants and other shopping. The receptionist were friendly and we weren't hassled which was a plus for me because some places treat you like you aren't a patron and make you feel like you're a criminal or something.

The condo could use some updating as far as living room furniture, we couldn't plug the bedroom tv in because the cord was too short, the light on the balcony wasn't working because the bulb was broken in half and lastly we didn't have any of the aforementioned toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.)

The condo well first the plug cover was missing repairman fixed the next day the dryer handle was gone the beds were awful hard as concrete # 1214 we told the repairman he said would write it down sweet guy

And to they say that clean so good cuz of COVID well I got it didn’t find out til I got home I was sick but on there cabinet door only says it clean with dishwashing liquid my so. Couldn’t get through his bracelet wouldn’t work he told the lobby ppl late evening they wouldn’t fix it or let him through he had to wait for someone to come through that stayed there which was 30 minutes so he could come up to the condo the condo run down the table had rust spots in it hardly any dishes to cook with sad

Staff was rude upon check in, Dryer didn’t work properly (not a huge issue), elevators didn’t work most of the time (my legs and back are sore from taking the stairs so much), and roaches in the condo. The place we booked through didn’t try to fix any of our issues (was really concerned about the roaches). I saved all the emails to and from. I meant to take pics of the roaches I killed and swept up.

Swimming facilities. Wrist bands. Location on the beach. Friendly staff. Indoor pool.

Door to balcony wouldn't open. Dryer filter was missing. We found live 4 roaches in the living room. Cost ($1200+ - Including a $300+ management fee and taxes above and beyond the base rental cost.) was high for a 3 night stay. ELEVATORS WERE OFTEN VERY SLOW with LONG WAITS.

The pool was spacious and had a great atmosphere with music and a live DJ on Friday. Beach access was convenient and having arm band access to the beach, parking deck and facility doors was very convenient. Location is convenient to restraints and Pier Park. View from the room was beautiful.

*Our condo was advertised as having 2 queen beds in one room and a king in the other. We arrived to find the advertised queen beds had been converted to full beds. I would not have booked this room if I had known it was full beds. Panhandle Getaways handled my booking and their customer service was extremely poor. According to Tidewater there was nothing they could do, all rentals are through the property management company. Panhandle Getaways never returned my calls all week. When I did speak to someone they transferred me to a voicemail and never solved my concerns. I texted and was told the customer service manager would call, never heard from him. *Beds we’re extremely uncomfortable and made a ton of noice every time you moved. *We weren’t told there is a $32 registration fee, or that we needed to pre-register which resulted in an additional $10 fee for registering upon arrival. *Elevators took FOREVER all week. *Our room was not cleaned well prior to our arrival, black mold on the shower heads and tracks, dust all over. *The sliding glass door had so much buildup on the track it took two of us to open the door every time we wanted to go out to the balcony. *Toilet in the master bathroom ran all the time, we had to take the lid off and flush it manually related to this issue. *Dryer had rust in it where it was missing a lint trap, leading to stains on some of our items. Overall, would not recommend anyone book room 1805 with Panhandle Getaways. Tidewater was a nice resort, but the poor service from the property management company left a poor impression on our experience and makes me second guess staying with this resort again for fear of having the same experience. We spoke with other families on the beach who had issues with their rooms and received poor customer service from other property management companies as well so it sounds like a trend unfortunately no matter which management company you book through.

The elevators are horrible and take longer than most,and the light out of the bedroom door made it hard to sleep due to being so bright.

Our room was real dirty when we got there we had no silverware the dryer did not work the ice maker did not work the elevators did not work we left a day early because we just couldn't stand it anymore it was horrible will for sure stay somewhere nicer and roomier

The balcony and view were great! The check-in and check-out process was smooth.

The condo was not well stocked-no regular cups, no regular sized spoons, no dust pan, no dish washing materials. The king bed was not comfortable (well worn) and there is a bright light outside the window with no blackout curtains (just blinds) so it was like daylight all night long. We gave the king bed to the kids and slept in the bunks. There are not enough elevators for all of the people, so the waits for the elevators was long (sometimes 10+ minutes). There was a drain in front of the condo that kept dropping muddy stinky water that flowed in front of the entire condo.

Everything you need or want to do is very close by

The elevators were dreadful. They had to keep staff IN the elevators because the buttons did what they wanted to.

Only 2 elevators worked while we were there. We had to take the stairs often which is hard with toddlers and seniors. The unit was dirty. The balcony door really needs to be cleaned. You can see body prints on it. The hallway lights lit up the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms to bright to sleep. We had to cover them with the extra bed coverings. All the dishes had to be hand washed after they had been washed in the dishwasher as the dishwasher did nothing to help clean. The second bedroom had no airflow when the door was closed which made the room uncomfortably hot.
