The man working was SO GOOD - we called and arrived early and he was very accommodating, making our overnight easier to manage on the way to a month-long lake rental. Really appreciated him and his kindness, which made the room doubly disappointing.

The room was dirty - but the kitchen was filthy. The cabinets had not been cleaned or wiped out since the last guest, and what was way worse was the automatic ice maker had been overflowing with ice in the refrigerator that had a foul odor every time you opened either the refrigerator or freezer. The other problem is the coffee pot had never been cleaned since the last visitor and there was a half-inch of mold on the coffee pod in the pot; we didn't even bother to try to clean it or use it, going down to the local gas station for coffee. The room showed way more wear than I expected - frayed carpets. etc., but the real problem was the lack of cleanliness.

Stayed three nights and the room was never cleaned and serviced. Ran out of towels the second night. Manager was no where to be found and the office locked up.

The A/C worked well. It was quiet. Owner/desk person was very polite. I left my DL at front deck on check in and owner/desk clerk kept in a safe place until I could pick it up.

Absolutely no kitchen utensils or silverware stocked in kitchenette. Room was only cleaned 1 of the 4 days we were there. No fresh towels after 1st day, had to reuse towels entire stay. No condiments/coffee brought to room after first day. This should be in description of room . If we had know we need to bring cookware & utensils we could have been prepared.

Rug rumpled and stained. Couch stained. People noisy outside late.
