I do like the fact that when I contacted the people at booking they did return my text and calls right away. The house was fully supplied in the kitchen with most everything we needed.

Even though I called Booking to verify that I would definitely get a house in Davenport as the ad stated. I was told it would definitely be a house in Davenport. I did not get that. The house I received was not the one I thought I was applying for, the one we did get was nothing like the house in the pictures. Furniture was way too large to really move around in the living room comfortably. The bedding was worn and faded. The carpets for stained and appeared unclean. The blinds were broken in almost every room in one way or another. Scatter rugs were clearly worn and not clean. The pool furniture was worn, stained and appeared dirty. It wasn't promised however, most houses do have some type of floating devices or some type of activity for the pool; this house had nothing for the pool at all. It was a big disappointment. note.... it appears when I submit this review that there is a rating of 3.0... that would not be my rating at all unless it would mean 3 out of 10. It is definitely not a 3 out of 5.

Loved everything about the house

Not the place I booked. I booked a single floor house. Received a 2 story house. But was very beautiful and the stay was great.

The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and in a nice neighborhood. I called the company in reference to the 8 people minimum and explained my concerns and he was willing to work with me. I also called in reference to the thermostat cover being locked and the house was a little warm. The person I spoke to came directly over and unlocked it for us.

Before I booked, I wasn't aware that you could only have 8 people in the home at all times. My mother, who is 74 traveled down with some of my family members and we rented two homes. I couldn't have them in the home because we had max capacity. I understand that the owner doesn't want parties in the home, but as I told management, you have my information and I would be liable for any damages whether there were 3 people or 10 people in the home when anything negative occurred.

Overall we were very pleased. Would I recommend this property YES I would. Aside from MY dislikes, it's ok becuase it made me feel at home lol. I need a new mop myself, probably have lint hidden. Are my dishes cleaned properly nope!!? My dish washer(s)are teenagers & I have no pool..but hair gets trapped in the tub 😁 Oh and I loved the fact the property management was right around the corner to assist.

Some dishes were not cleaned properly, No mop, found dryer lint a drawer in the kitchen, thankfully it was the junk drawer 🙂 the pool was cleaned during our stay, however there was globs of hair/lint that we skimmed out ourselves after the fact. Maybe need to change the filter?

Spacious rooms and the back porch

It wasn't the house that i picked and the day i checked in, the househad an odor. The rugs were dirty as well as the couches. One rug we kept tripping over it. The pool should have safety rails and i paid for a heated pool and the pool didn't heated at all. I only got 2 bathrooms and when i booked it it 3 three and i thought it was suppose to have a pool table. And the blinds were all broken. The beds had hair on the sheets. The master bathroom i found hair all on the sink. And found out on our last night when we took the trash out it was trash already in the trash can from other guest. The patio light didn't work. The kitchen stove had something sticky on it.

The house and location was great. The pool was excellent.

I would change the cookware and the blanket. The pots and pan were ugly and everything you cook in it stuck to the pan. The blankets were scratchy and old.
