The Hotel Y, a Dazzler Select by Wyndham

This is a nicely updated motel with modern decor. We rented three separate rooms with king beds, and all three were clean and comfortable. The free included breakfast had a nice selection of premade breakfast sandwiches, make your own waffles, bread selection and a variety of cereals. There were also grab and go juice, milk and bottled water, and coffee/tea selections. The location is right off of I-82 and I'm walking distance if the waffle House and a couple of other restaurants. There is also a nice coffee stand right next to the parking lot, and they had good coffee/lattes.

Nothing, it was great.

The location was perfect being right off the highway after driving 12 hours from 2 states away. I also didn’t get there til 1am, and Brandon was very accommodating and professional and welcoming. I LOVE they have laminate floor instead of nasty carpet, I can’t remember the last time I touched a hotel floor barefoot before this, even in way more expensive “luxury “ places.

The only two things I can really say is that they could’ve had a 2nd layer of curtains/shades to make the room darker, and I had to slam the door literally to make it lock, which was annoying because I got in super late and kept going outside to grab stuff from my car and I not only had to keep triple checking that my door was locked, I was hoping no other guests made a noise complaint about the door slamming. Other than that, maybe a showed wand would be dope, but they are clean, the price is right and there’s a LOT of restaurants and bars down ther street and a beautiful view of the hills.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of USB ports to charge my devices. Plenty of counter space. Breakfast was adequate.

I could hear footsteps of the occupants above me.
