You simply cannot beat the location. The house is very nicely appointed and quite comfortable. We did have a minor issue with the heating system when we first arrived however Sam at the management company was fantastic. He was very helpful and friendly & made sure everything was immediately corrected.

Fabulous lodge, huge, spotless, quiet, beautifully finished and in an ideal location 30mins from the valley floor. 2 big bedrooms on the bottom floor with their own lounge, middle floor with big living room, kitchen and veranda, then big master bedroom on the top floor. The drive to the Yosemite was spectacular along tunnel view. We walked around Yosemite village several times after hikes and so glad we didn't stay down there as the facilities were shabby, dirty and very poor other than the village shop. We were warned about long queues and no parking and were nearly put off coming all together, but we found nothing like that and we went in August. Can't fault this booking or the property and will return one day.

The house is fantastic. Plenty of space inside and out. Stargazing at night was amazing. The beds were all comfortable and kitchen and washing facilities were excellent. Excellent location and value for money. Wish we had stayed longer. There is no signal or WiFi but we enjoyed being completely off grid and just enjoyed the space and company. The house is much bigger than we expected from looking at the photos.

Place was clean and well-appointed. Some Kleenex in the bedrooms, or anywhere in the house, would be nice.

No heat, except for space heaters...one on each floor. Too cold to shower. No one said anything about it. Found out that the house had radiant floor heating that was not working. Only reason we found out was that the repairman showed up 30 minutes before we left. Will ask for a discount on our stay...don't know what to expect. LOTS of stairs and up and down. Lastly, mattresses and pillows were very substandard. Only slept 3 hours the second night, due to an aching back caused by the "hammock" of a king bed on the top floor. At least one of the mattresses on the lower floor was also substandard.

Clean. Comfortable. Great layout.
