Surf Club Oceanfront Hotel

Ocean front. Conveniently located tk restaurants and stores. Parking was the only issue.

Parking

1. Beach and downtown proximity. 2. Room is large and has nice windows. 3. Nice outdoors pool - unfortunately we did not have enough time to use it!

1. Host at check was not welcoming ; 2. We signed at extensive agreement that we will pay for any damages, but after entering the room we found a big crack in the large mirror. We informed the host right away about the damage, but she stated she did not know about it. Expectation was that she should have known about and informed us about the pre-existing damage. 3. Floor was not clean and the slippers, we usually wear inside, got dirty; 4. Bathroom sliding door was hard to open/close; 5. Shower doors guiding clamps were missing and may hurt if they fall, a clear liability. 6. Not enough parking spaces on premises. 7. No elevator. This should have been included in property description in Booking.com; 8. Management should hire a better maintenace team.

Location!! This property is ocean front right in the heart of Dewey Beach. Quiet and easy access to the beach. The room was large with a small kitchen area, living room and dining room. Ocean views!

No elevator, so being on the third floor, that is a lot of steps.

We liked the view from the windows.

Didn't like the bed or pillows, didn't like the coffee pot and the bathroom need major updating Also, the old staircase was horrible. The security did not come on until we reached the floor and turned the corner.
