The Virginian is a comfortable resort located just south of Jackson's downtown area. There's restaurant and saloon on site with entertainment several times a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and around the fire pits. It's an easy place to meet fellow travelers.
Prices in Jackson are outrageous! Compared to other hotels in the area, this is more "affordable." Also, I would have appreciated a fitness room on-site. We ended up going to an off-property gym nearby.

Very nice hotel for a moderate price. Staff was amazing!!
There was a banging sound in the room behind us like an animal trying to get out of the bathroom. There was no whimpering like it might have been a dog so not sure what it was. The heater/ac unit was a little noisy.

Coffee, Billy’s, AC, bed, fire pits, location!
We love the Virginian, and always stay here when in JH. But this was our first time being placed in the alcove building in the back. You could hear people in the next room (loud TV and talking) and hallway clearly; and the hot water ran out quickly. It just didn’t have the same quality feel of the Virginian that we normally love. Definitely prefer the courtyard rooms.

"Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit großzügigen Zimmern, vor allem das Bad bietet sehr viel Platz. Man hat vom Pool aus einen schönen Blick auf die Berge.
Das Parken vor Ort ist kostenlos."
