The room was a bit larger than we expected and had a microwave and small refrigerator. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the room heating unit worked well. The receptionist, Dennis, was very friendly. The connected restaurant was nice, although we wish it would serve breakfast as well as dinner. Room was very reasonably priced for the area and time of year (leaf-peeping season).
Noise from the room upstairs was annoying - we could easily hear people walking back and forth. Fortunately, road noise was minimal, since the motel is well away from any busy road.

This is a basic ski lodge and that is exactly what you get... We arrived in the early evening out of season so not many people around but it was very welcoming. The bar is the centre of everything and food was available till 8pm (flexible)... we had tacos cos it was 'taco tuesday'.
The bathroom was basic but it IS a basic lodge. Same with the TV. and the room was a little chilly intil we turned on the portable electric fan heater.

The staff was great, and the dinner we had there was very good. The lounge looked comfortable, but we didn’t use it.
We thought they served breakfast but they don’t—but the staff recommended a place we really enjoyed. There was no elevator, which was hard for my husband, who uses a cane. And we didn’t realize that so didn’t request the ground floor, so he had to navigate stairs.
