Coppertoppe Inn & Retreat Center

Amazing location. Beautiful views of the autumn colors and Newfound Lake. Sheila, Bill, and David were wonderful hosts. Great breakfast, well stocked tea and coffee area. Very close to some terrific easy walking and hiking spots like Sculptured Rocks and Goose Pond.

The Coppertoppe is a rare gem quietly tucked into the heart of central New Hampshire. We thought we were simply booking “a place to stay,” and — WOW — we ended up with an experience that far exceeded anything we imagined. The owners and staff are genuinely exceptional. They reached out before our stay to learn about our needs, preferences, and goals during our time there, and then tailored everything with a level of care that feels almost unheard of in today’s fast‑paced, data‑driven world. It’s personalized hospitality at its finest — the kind you don’t realize you’ve been missing until someone delivers it flawlessly. If you’re looking for a stay that feels warm, intentional, and refreshingly human, rest assured: you will not be disappointed. Coppertoppe isn’t just an inn — it’s a heartfelt retreat that reminds you what true service and genuine connection feel like.

There was nothing about our experience that I would change.

Breakfast was great bill and Sheila made a great team to accommodate our likes. The location was awesome view from our balcony was beautiful over looking the lake.

I booked the stay thinking this was a larger inn and retreat. It is more of a bed and breakfast which is not really our cup of tea. The bed we had to sleep in was a an opened up day bed that had rails half way down each side of the bed making it difficult to get in and out of. The mattress was fine slept well. Bathroom could use a refresh no counter space to place your toiletries on. Everything was nice and clean.

Bill and Sheila made us feel completely comfortable and at home at Coppertoppe Inn. We loved the gorgeous view, the tea station (perfect for sleepytime tea at the end of the night!) , the terrific breakfasts, and the comprehensive library. The Inn had air conditioning, a towel warming rack, and a wonderful shower. They had beautiful mugs for sale, as well as postcards and syrup. They get produce from a local farm cooperative and everything is fresh and delicious. They have grab and go snacks and juices, and everything is so welcoming and comfortable.

I don't have anything I would change. This was great.
