Seaside Inn Motel

It was a gods size room

The Floors were not clean at all.. I spilled some water clean it and the cloth was black super dirty… not noticeable cause the fooor is dark.. but when u wipe them they were dirty..

We needed a place to stay on our drive up the coast. This place had a great rate for the night and was along our route. We arrived at night so we weren't sure about the neighborhood, but the staff were friendly when we checked in and out. The room is spacious and looks dirty because the rooms are old, the furniture is old and doesn't match - chairs all seemed to be on their last legs, but everything worked and the mattress was very comfortable. The room was clean, water in the shower had good pressure and temperature. We liked that the kitchenette was in a separate room with a door. I'm an early bird and my husband is a night owl, so we had a place besides the bathroom to hang out without disturbing the other. The A/C unit worked well. The motel is on the corner of a street, but it was quiet the night we were there. There is a well-lit liquor store on the block, but we didn't get to go in. It didn't come up on our maps when we searched for a convenience store for drinks and snacks. What we like the best was a trail kitty corner to the motel with a nice stream that had the most ducks I've ever seen in one place, a park and leads to the beach. We walked across the pier where a lot of people were pier fishing, and ate at a restaurant right on the beach - their clam chowder was delicious and we ordered the seared tuna salad, which came in a huge tortilla shell. We enjoyed both and the view. Public bathroom between the restaurant and the pier was large pretty clean.

The chairs seemed to have been collected from discards and not the sturdiest or comfortable - the chair in the kitchen had a vinyl seat that was cracking so it caught on my clothing when I sat on it.

A WALL PLUG COVER WAS LOSE AND OPEN THE TOILET WAS VERY LOW TO THE FLOOR, BUT IT WAS WORKING
