The location is wonderful. Very close to shopping and dining. There is a great front porch and deck in the back of the house that would be great in the summer. We were the only renters at the time so it was nice to have to whole property to ourselves. Our part of the house (downstairs) has an open concept design, which was perfect for our family. The apartment has a lot of older home Victorian charm.

The appliances could use an upgrade. It would be nice to have another TV. There is one main heater in the dining area and smaller space heaters in each room. Since it was winter it made it difficult at first to keep it warm until we figured out the right combination of heaters and fans.

Very convenient location: close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Also, I liked privacy of my apartment. There is a lot of sitting place: on the front porch, on sides, and on the backyard. Gas grill is available for cooking. The house and furniture are from the old times, and this bring its own sharm and create specific atmosphere.

I believe all negative sides of the stay cannot be improved and explained by old undeveloped sewage system of the city, such as no shredder in the sink, no laundry nor washing machine. But if you don't cook/wash it's not a problem at all.

Sandra was very warm and welcoming. Snacks provided, heaters turned on and Christmas music playing. Thanks for making us feel at home
