The staff was very helpful and pleasant, it’s location is awesome (although parking was slightly difficult). Overall, it was a great experience!

The only issue I had was with one of the bartenders. She was a very amicable but completely conned me into purchasing an extremely expensive beverage without noting the cost first. When I was given the tab I was totally shocked and disappointed.

Everything was great. The choice of food was good and the location was great. Having breakfast on the 2nd floor kept you from interrupting check-in and check out which I thought was awesome.

The only problem was the refrigerator did not work.

Property is very centrally located. Lots within walking distance. Right across from the spectrum center. Front desk staff was very nice each time I spoke to them. Also, accommodating with a late checkout.

Not pertaining to the property itself but valet is iffy…the text to use the link to retrieve the car only worked the first time so every other time we needed our car we had to go down and ask and wait 20-30 minutes. the day we checked out they told us they didn’t have our keys and even had us check the cabinet ourselves for them. They called the girl who parked it and she wasn’t answering. After an hour of waiting they finally found the keys.

Hotel was conveniently located directly across the street from the Charlotte Hornets Spectrum Center. I was attending a game that evening and it made it effortless getting there. We walked and crossed the street to get to the entrance of the arena. There was a big selection of breakfast items and condiments to choose from.

I had some difficulty finding the breakfast floor, only because I assumed it was on the lobby floor. I don't remember if I was told that at check in.

The fact that it was right across from The spectrum center came for a the spurs vs hornets & realized it was in close proximity to every restaurant we booked reservations for

We were given a credit for all of the mishaps we experienced. Some staff were very nice. Located within walking distance of concert venue.

Check-in was a nightmare. Very understaffed and unprepared. Line was backed up all the way across the lobby. After waiting in line for about 30 mins, we were given a room key to a room that was already occupied. We literally walked in and people were in there. Very unsettling. Then the new room key we were given didn't work and we had to get a new one. When we walked into the room, all the drawers and doors were open including to the refrigerator and microwave. It was as if the cleaning staff didn't finish their process or something. The room was very loud being located by the train and we heard the train crossing sound most of the night. I probably would not stay there again.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Was extremely cold and couldn't enjoy the bar abs lounge. Too cold in this area.

We had 2 king suites but I don’t believe the beds were kings they were queen size

The room was clean & the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean & had a good layout. I liked having the sofa & table, & the refrigerator & coffee area. The room was pretty big, plenty of space. I liked the big window & being on a high floor (10th). The breakfast seating area on the 2nd floor was beautiful and spacious; there were a lot of people there at the time I went, but it didn’t feel crowded. I liked all of the windows it had. The elevator was always quick. The valet parking employees were fantastic!! I arrived at the hotel later than expected & I was nervous about unloading my luggage quickly to get to the show at the Spectrum Center. “Mo”, the really tall guy, helped me out & was very efficient putting my luggage on the cart and taking care of my car! He was not flustered by my panic, and reassured me that I would be on time for the show! The next morning at checkout the valet staff had my car ready in front of the hotel & were very friendly. This was my 2nd stay here, & it’s really convenient for walking to nearby restaurants and bars, & obviously, very convenient for going to the Spectrum Center! Overall I enjoyed both of my stays. If I come back to Charlotte I would stay here again. I just need to familiarize myself with what restaurants, attractions, & bars are close to the hotel, within walking distance. I like that the building is relatively new & clean.

More lighting in the room would have been helpful for me (a floor lamp beside the sofa?). One of the panels on the closet door wouldn’t close, it just stayed open. I didn’t need the desk area & the placement & shape of it was strange. The breakfast needed more food options (waffles/pancakes?). It would have been great if the bar in the lobby had stayed open later (I was there on a Sunday night, MLK, Jr weekend, went to a show at Spectrum Center Sunday night, went back to my room at 9:45, would have been a great time to enjoy relaxing in the bar). The staff at the desk said it closed at 8:00 p.m.. I would have liked the staff to give me more suggestions of nearby bars, cafes, or restaurants to go to at that time (walking). I asked when I checked in & the young man kind of mumbled & said a lot of the places that were nearby would be closed when I got out of the show. But I looked online when I went to my room & saw many that were open as late as 2:00 a.m. (I didn’t want to stay out that late, but an hour or so would have been an enjoyable venture).

It is in the center of downtown and we could walk everywhere. But the view from the 15th floor was awesome?

Parking is very complicated, we were lucky because the gate of the parking garage next to the hotel was open all the time so we could park for free.

Our room smelt musty/damp when the air conditioner was off but the room was clean and comfortable.
