Nice hotel, clean and tidy

Can’t open the windows very much in the room. And the breakfast is a bit on the cheap side

I didn’t like the authorization policy for holding the room. When you book the reservation it states that you pay upon arrival. Not that the staff calls you the day of your arrival before you enter the grounds and state that your card is not authorized due to lack of funds and we need the first nights deposit to hold the room. I have NEVER encountered this policy at any other hotel. The receptionists were also very rude during the day both females. I was working and wanted clarification in regards to exactly what she needed and the policy and they both were rude and impatient. The receptionist proceeded to insinuate that I wanted to cancel my reservation  due to lack of funds. That was not the case it’s just that I never dealt with or heard of such a policy. This all took place before I even stepped foot on the property which was discouraging. Despite this unfortunate initial interaction… I enjoyed my stay.

Our stay was great! Our room was very clean & quiet & the front desk were very nice!!

Location

People were smoking marijuana in their rooms and in the hallways and outside. The staff at the front desk is sitting around talking to people as if everyone is having a party and work is not being done and other people are not being attended to. One of the staff members by the name of Kim has a smart mouth and is very rude. The tables where the continental breakfast is being held or dirty. There’s not enough breakfast food to go around because of all of the sports teams and construction workers plus their families are eating 3 to 4 plates per person and not leaving food for others. The quality of the food is unacceptable and it taste horrible. The hotel has people sign a form that says the property must be quiet between 10 to 8. People who are drinking at the bar walk over to the breakfast area and continue talking all night long very loud and laughing as well as the patio in the back. It was very hard to get some sleep and we were there for four days. It’s more of a party place than it is a hotel. This was brought up to the staff, and all they did was give me excuses instead of taking care of the problem. The room looked like it had graffiti on the walls, and someone tried to clean it off. There was cobwebs in the corners of the room. We were supposed to have the room cleaned and we had left the entire day so that can be done and when we came back, the room had not been touched at all. I had to go back up to the front and ask them to clean our room.
