Shores of Panama Resort

Loved it

While at the pool felt harassed I had this one staff member keep coming up to me about different things. First told me we couldn’t have out water football in the pool area while the night before there were older kids that had theirs in the pool all night. I asked why and she told me that we can’t have hard balls in the pool. I literally showed her it was a water ball and it was soft and could be rung out then she said I guess it will be okay. Then about 15 mins later was approached again and told I needed to take my drink out of the water when I was standing long my the side. But when looking around every adult in the water had a drink in their hand and some had 2. When I mentioned if she was going to tell that to everyone in the pool she just said it is the policy we can’t have drinks in the water. I just felt very attacked and harassed. Very targeted.

The Shores is amazing. Great facilities and very clean. Building is a little old, but it’s ok. We loved the pools and access to the beach.

Poorly equipped. Just one sofa, lacking more seating and relaxation space. Kitchen with few items. Only 2 pans, no bowls or serving dishes. The oven doesn't open because it's stuck between the refrigerator. And there's an unpleasant smell in the bathrooms. Good things, comfortable bed, good space for 4 people. Only one flight of stairs to access the garage and pool without always depending on the elevators.

It was very close to the beach and I enjoyed my time there

Toilet kept running, dryer does not turn off on its own, queen room tv broken, microwave was burnt smelling while cooking food. Broken chair, Floors were very dirty upon arrival.
