We stayed in the yurt on the property. It was wonderful! Very nicely appointed and comfortable. Great breakfast in the morning.

You can't beat the view from this lodge of Resurrection Bay! The breakfast was good and we particularly appreciated the afternoon coffee, lemonade, cookies/brownies available. The Texas owners were friendly.

The gravel road into the lodge is interesting, but we were forewarned by the owners. It was well worth it for the view!!

The hosts were very personable, helpful, amazing! They provided transportation from the airport which was so helpful. The room was darling. Decorated very cute very clean. The mountains across the Bay are stunning. It was very enjoyable.

Lovely setting, lovely owners ! Right next to Tonsina creek trailhead (beautiful easy hike). Very comfortable beds. The view in the morning is unbeatable.

Beautiful location right on the bay. Outside of town, so no crowds. Breakfast was very good with lots of options.

The main lodge has an amazing view of the bay with a great back porch.. windy but beautiful views of water and mountains. Staff was also very nice. The included breakfast was very good. It was nice to have an assigned parking space.

I should have researched our room better.. A tiny room and shower, not even room for a chair. The building was very old with thin walls, we could hear everything in adjoining rooms. The only window was to the parking lot.. Very poor wi-fi if that is important to you (it was to us due to work.). Finally, the lodge was too far out of town to be walkable, and we had to drive through an avalanche danger zone to get back and forth between there and town.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay at Resurrection Lodge on the Bay. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after our cruise before heading to Anchorage. The views from the deck are breathtaking and instead of dinner in Steward, we opted to head to the Safeway for a bottle of wine and some appetizers to soak in all the beauty and watch for wildlife. A family of sea otters put on quite the show! The deck also allowed for us to visit with other guests and to share travel experiences. The next morning we gathered again for coffee and a delicious breakfast prepared by Patrick, who is also a baker and had cookies and brownies for us to enjoy throughout the day. The owners, Michelle and Kendall were perfect hosts and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality and assistance was beyond exceptional. If I ever return to Seward, I will definitely stay at the Lodge again.

You will not find a better view of Resurrection Bay anywhere in Seward. The owners are down-to-Earth and ensure all your needs are met. Breakfast is great and the homemade treats in the afternoon hit the spot. A definite must stay when in Seward.

The road accessing Lowell Point and the lodge is sometimes closed to make repairs from the recent landslide. We found this to have minimal to no impact on our plans. We would be in town prior to the road closure and return after completing our daily events. Don’t let this change your mind about staying. With some planning, the work on the road will not effect your vacation.
