GORGEOUS location - stunning view. Beautiful comfortable home. But see note below - VACASA totally screwed things up by sending a handyman out to "fix' the thermostat cover that was falling off. They managed to turn off the heat altogether and it could not be repaired until the following week. We were devastated having to move to a different home in a far less convenient location as a result.

We loved the home and location. UNFORTUNATELY, I made the mistake of informing VACASA that the thermostat cover was taped on and falling off. They sent someone out to "fix" it and SOMEHOW mysteriously the "fixer" managed to turn off the main heat to the house and was unable to repair it. We were devastated to have to move to a different location we did not like anywhere near as well. We were visiting friends in Port Townsend and the new location was 35 minutes from town. So -- LOVED the home and want to come back -- but will definitely NOT let VACASA staff know of any issues until after we've left. Our mini-vacation was definitely seriously marred with having to move.

it wasn’t the cleanest. There was trash leftover from the previous guests and not taken out, the water kettle had old water and not clean.

Loved the view on the water, the morning light, the trail to the beach. Quiet neighborhood with lots of solitude. The house itself seems well maintained and it felt spacious. Plenty of lights and lamps which I always appreciate. WiFi worked well.

Stained bedroom pillows badly need replacing. Bring your own. The Teflon in quite a few kitchen pots and pans was peeling and felt unsafe to use. Mattress in master room and main sofa both way too soft to be comfortable.

Location, comfy bed, nice kitchen, gas fireplace.

No contact person. Laundry in garage, laundry in washer, yuck after our 4 day stay, couldn't use laundry at all if we wanted to. sent emails no response. Garbage under couch. No blankets. Dirty utensils, lights not all working, switches to nothing. Instant hot no work. Not sure how heaters worked in bedroom or bath, fans came on not heat. No communication. Wander what would have happened if we had a huge issue like septic or no water.
