Great location and great host. The apartment is close to the station and the beach. Barbara met us at check in. There were lots of breakfast food, a bottle of wine and her homemade cake for us. The good size for us(2 adults, 13yrs and 10 yrs) too. We thank Barbara for letting us stay :)

Excellent location just a few steps up from the main square, the harbour and small beach and yet very quiet. Barbara provides a well stocked fridge with lots of goodies along with coffee, tea, wine biscuits and snacks. The room is spacious and has everything you would need should you choose a self- catering stay.

Really spacious and the door is about 10 yards away from the main front of Vernazza. Donna left food and wine for us and we were allowed into the room early which was needed after doing part of the Cinque Terre walk with bags. Air con was also very good so we were very comfortable during the recent heat wave. Couldn’t recommend staying here more and will hopefully be back

This property is in a perfect location in the middle of town next to the beach. Barbara is lovely and very helpful. Fabulous amenities and very homely. A perfect property.

Location is simply perfect, authentic and comfortable accommodation, live as a local, most important is the most obliging host.

We loved all the little homey touches and the well-stocked kitchen. We even received some homemade cake from our lovely host!

- Tucked away in a quiet side street but mere steps away from the Vernazza port and the iconic waterside restaurants! - Barbara herself was an amazing host and even had homemade pastries and a fully stocked fridge for meals. Also a wealth of travel tips as a local. - Large, spacious, well-decorated room that felt luxurious.

Beautiful well decorated apartment less than a minute from the harbour. Easy to find, and so convenient to the nearby shops and restaurants. Our host Barbara was friendly and quick to respond to messages. She provided a lovely selection of foods for breakfast including pastries, yoghurt, and cured meat.

The bed was a bit harder thank we like it. Location in the center of town means there’s potential for it to be noisy, however we found the streets were quiet after about 9.30pm.

The property was at a great location. Easy to find. Clean. Great breakfast. Great host. Barbara was very accommodating of my infant.

Friendly and helpful. Exceptionally catered for in the apartment, with thoughtful breakfast items and variety, and a lovely bottle of wine. Lovely and warm in winter, we were toasty, not like others we met who had no heating in their apartment. Location exceptional in this gorgeous village

"DonnaBarbara" was perfectly located for us (Vernazza being almost in the middle) This darling apartment has everything, very spacious.. bed is extremally comfortable & cosy, extra pillows & blanket if needed. Our host had left us wine, cheese, cold meats, fruit, bread, biscuits, condiments, butters, coffee, tea, water etc etc unbelievably generous !! This made life very easy for us. Great bathroom with a shower, lots of towels, and toiletries. I highly recommend "DonnaBarbara" value for money - outstanding !!

I like how the apartment had a good amount of food provided so that we don't have to always go out every time for groceries. Not to mention that I also like how there's also a 2-in-1 kitchen and dining room with everything that we need! Plates, utensils, knives, cups, dishwasher soap, sponge... you name it! Convenient, I must say.

Location was amazing, and the apartment is very cosy and comfortable. Barbara was just lovely and clearly takes pride in being an excellent host.

Breakfast is self prepared which we didn’t mind, but I know some are not keen on.

Location was right off the square! Couldn't ask for better. Apartment was clean and nicely appointed. Lots of breakfast items provided in the apartment. And thank you, Barbara, for the walking pole after Jane's fall!

I liked it all.

The property is excellent in every way. Location is right in the main plaza, ten steps to the water. lots of privacy, quiet corner in the middle of all activities. All amenities are thoughtfully planned and provided, from the wine and water and eggs for breakfast, to everything you ever need in the bathroom.

Barbara is a really warm person. Thank you for letting us stay at your place. The location is good as one doesn't need to carry luggage far from the railway station. The breakfast options were sumptuous.

The location was just perfect down near the little harbour and once all the tourists left it was very peaceful. Donna left many things for breakfast and cooking facilities were excellent.

This apartment was just perfect and cater for 3 of us very well. There was nothing we didn't like except maybe stairs but this is Vernazza so stairs are the norm.

Barbara was a delight. She met us upon arrival, and escorted us to the room. There were breakfast items, beverages, and snacks for us. She even had a chilled bottle of local wine waiting.

The bed was slightly hard, but that is personal preference.
