Bar two doors down had loud music until 2 am with people doing burn outs on street.

Breakfast was okay, could be better, but is fine for a quick grab and go. Bed was plenty comfy and everything was clean. Staff was friendly and the location is superb. Overall a great place to stay Downtown Milwaukee.

Not much to dislike other then the standard hotel breakfast, and that doesn't really count. A better variety of hot food would be better I suppose, maybe some other meat choices and a better quality egg. I'm nit picking here though.

Noise from 6am trash truck

the location is nice because it is across the street from the public market and third ward community that has shops and restaurants. Pretty to walk through. Easy access to river walk and we were able to easily walk to 3rd street market hall (more restaurants) and Milwaukee Public Museum (took about 18 mins). The hot tub was fine.

Parking was a pain. They didn't tell me upon arrival that I needed a pass and got stuck in Huron garage. Got it straightened out but it was stressful. Be aware that they do not have a pool but instead a small splash pad (might be good for toddlers?). The "evening social" was a joke food wise. Cold buns and lukewarm burger patties with ketchup packets...no cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, etc. The BARE MINIMUM and a few bags of chips and some can pop. Breakfast was the same. No milk one of the days and the next day no juice. The fresh fruit basket had 2 green apples when we arrived, those went quick and was never refilled over the 2 days we stayed. Breakfast staff not friendly or helpful. Front desk staff was better.

The location was fabulous and our room was beautiful and huge.

I booked a King suite for 4 adults. The description of the room said there was a King bed and a sofa bed. However, the “sofa” bed was actually a love seat, and the mattress inside was a twin! I’m not sure where they expected 4 adults to sleep in this room (unless they expected 3 people to sleep in the king bed??) I ended up spending the night on the floor of the room. It was very disappointing.

I like the hotel it was very nice and clean The staff was very nice and kind and very helpful during my stay. But when it comes to getting your deposit back things change and people get nasty and rude. I spoke with one of the managers and tried to explain that didn't received my deposit back. He kept talking over me and got really loud with me very unprofessional. He kept telling .e to talk to my bank which I already had done and the bank told me that the hotel didn't return my deposit. I am still waiting for my money. I kept asking when was the funds put back on my card but the answer kept changing. I have stayed other places and never had an issue. The other places I have stayed always went out of the way to help the customer. Not this place. Very nice hotel but fat as the manager to assist with a issue your on your own. Which is very unfortunate because it is a very nice hotel. Need better customer service skills. Better management. I was told that that s manager would call me. They never called back.

What I didn't like about my stay is that I never received my money back from the hotel. The deposit of 150.00 to be exact. I paid the $243.00 for the room for two nights. Which was fine. They took 375.00 off my card and told me that I would get my deposit back in a few days. Still haven't received a refund. I took a screenshot of what was taken . I called the hotel and spoke to two different people. The first lady I spoke with was nice and understanding I explained to her that still haven't seen my refund. She said to contact the bank. My bank says they haven't received a refund of 150.00 to be put back into my account. So the customer service rep told me she would have a Manager look into because on her end she couldn't do anything. Then she said would have a Manager call me the next day. Nobody called me . I had to reached out to them which was very unprofessional. I am the customer. When I finally got a hold of a manager and explained the situation. He continued to be rude and nasty and said we don't have your money but the money was taken off my card. I have proof that it was.i have documentation where the 375.00 was taken off my card on Christmas Eve . I didn't appreciate talked to that way that manager talked me horrible. I trying to explain my situation and what happened and he still telling me they don't have the deposit. But the money taken off my card at this hotel. This is not right. Then I asked the manager how long it would take then said don't know. I asked what day was the funds released he said he don't know. All I know is somebody took 150.00 from me and I never got my deposit back. The hotel itself is nice and clean but when comes to refunding your deposit they can't seem to honor that. Quick to take your hard earn money but not quick to give you your deposit back. Which is messed up and very very unprofessional.

The room was very spacious and had all of the amenities needed to have the comforts of home away from home. The room was clean and met our expectations.

The security guard at the Huron hotel who is in charge of letting you into the parking garage was non existent. This left you out in the cold during sub zero conditions waiting and ultimately having to walk around the entire building to get into the lobby of the Huron Hotel. I let the front desk know at Homewood Suites and Lori put on her coat and walked me over there to make sure I got in. She turned it around for their lack of customer service. Thank you Lori you're Awesome!!!!
